The European Network of Ethnobiology
Das European Network of Ethnobiologists (ENE) ist ein Zusammenschluss von Forschenden, Studierenden und Fachpersonen aus ganz Europa, die im Bereich der Ethnobiologie tätig sind. Ziel des Netzwerks ist es, den Austausch innerhalb der europäischen Ethnobiologie-Community zu fördern und die Zusammenarbeit über Länder- und Institutionsgrenzen hinweg zu stärken.
Das ENE wurde gegründet, um die in Europa oft verstreut arbeitenden ethnobiologischen Forschungsgruppen besser zu vernetzen. Es bietet eine Plattform für wissenschaftlichen Austausch, gemeinsame Projekte sowie den Dialog zwischen etablierten Forschenden und Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt dabei auf der Unterstützung junger Forschender, etwa durch Workshops, Webinare und informelle Netzwerkformate.
