We would like to draw your attention to the 25^th International Congress of the International Society for Ethnopharmacology (ISE) and 1^st Workshop on Nursing Ethnopharmacology , which will take place from the 14^th to the 17^th September 2026 in the historic city of Foligno, located in the heart of Umbria, Italy.

Programme

• 10:45 am – Arrival and welcome
  Botanical Garden of Zurich
• 11:00 am – Guided tour of the special exhibition “Plants as Medicine – Diversity in Switzerland” (in German)
  with Caroline Weckerle
  Duration: approx. 60 minutes
• 12:15 pm – Joint lunch (optional)
  We will have lunch together. The restaurant will be decided based on the number of participants.
  The lunch is not covered by the network and will be paid for by the participants themselves.
• 2:15 pm – Meeting at the Botanical Garden of Zurich
• 2:30 pm – Guided tour “Medicinal Plants, Aromatic Plants and Spices: Diverse Potential for Therapeutically Curious Minds” (in German)
  with Maja Dal Cero
  Duration: approx. 60–90 minutes
• Afterwards – Small aperitif at the Botanical Garden of Zurich
  The aperitif will be organised and provided by the Swiss Ethnobiology Network.

The guided tours and the aperitif are funded by the network and are free of charge for members (CHF 10 contribution towards costs for non-members).
